Worship Schedule

10:30am Festive Service

The festive service at 10:30 is our largest. Communion is celebrated every week. The service is filled with music: the adult choir sings every Sunday during the school year, the handbell choir plays periodically, and guitars and saxophones make frequent appearances. Organ and piano lead the singing, everything from Lutheran chorales to Gospel to Gregorian chant. Most special events, such as baptisms and first communion happen at the 10:30 service. A nursery is available for young children.

8:15am Meditative Service

This early morning service uses silence and meditation to bring us closer to God. Communion is celebrated every week. There is usually one hymn, led by the organ.

Outdoor Service

During July, we add an outdoor worship service at Good Shepherd Center. The service is at 9:15am and is led by the Guitar Group. Communion is celebrated every week.

Festivals and Seasonal Services

We follow the liturgical year at First Lutheran, which means we worship every Sunday, but also sometimes on other days! There are also many Sundays that are special festival days. Following are some highlights from the upcoming year. Non-Sunday services are usually held at 7:00pm, unless otherwise noted.
