Rev. Jimmy W. Madsen

jimmylargepicPastor Jimmy Madsen is a native of Round Rock, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in applied organ from the University of Texas at Austin, and he also sang in the A Cappella choir while attending the university. His Master of Divinity degree is from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. The first three years of the program were at Hamma School of Theology on the campus of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. While on that campus he sang in the Bach Choir and with the Schola Cantorum. He also served as a student intern with the pastor to the university. Since 1979 Pastor Madsen has been pastor of First Lutheran. He is a founding member of Lorain Cooperative Ministry food program and the Lorain County Free Clinic.

Pastor Jimmy will be retiring this December.
